Since 2012, Girls in Tech has brought together hundreds of women in tech of all ages and luminary tech leaders to create an intimate experience. The goal: to deliver sage advice and lessons learned to the next generation of women in tech, and to create a long-lasting sense of community among women in all roles and at all levels of their careers.
Catalyst delivers an experience no other conference can rival. TED-style power presentations will have you look at leaders in a whole new light—and forever change the way you approach your life, your career and all the tradeoffs in between. Unique opportunities to connect with other women in tech will not only keep you energised, but will make you realise the support system that is at your fingertips.
Situated in the heart of the South Wharf, Catalyst will take place at heritage listed venues Showtime and Cargo Hall. The ‘old world, industrial glam’ atmosphere of these spaces is reflective the conferences’ central themes.
Built in 1875 The Cargo Hall and Shed 11 were original designed to service and house cargo vessels on the Yarra, crucial to development of the thriving city of Melbourne.
Hear success stories from extraordinary leaders and learn about trends across tech, innovation, business, and startup.

Will be the “largest intimate” tech conference you’ll ever attend, as you hear revolutionary speakers share tales of their journey to the top, career advice, how they made those decisions and, most importantly – what lessons they want to pass on to the next generation of the female tech workforce.
